The China Import and Export Fair

The China Import and Export Fair (abbreviated as: Canton Fair), founded on April 25,1957, is held twice a year in spring and autumn in Guangzhou. It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and hosted by China Foreign Trade Center. It is the longest-standing, highest-level, largest-scale, most comprehensive, and most influential international trade fair in China, known as “The First Exhibition of China”. The Canton Fair offers flexible and diverse trading methods. Besides traditional sample viewing and transaction, it also holds online trade fairs. The Canton Fair mainly focuses on export trade but also engages in import business. It can also carry out various forms of economic and technological cooperation and exchanges, as well as business activities such as commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, and consulting.
